Hi, I'm thinking of buying a Lapierre sensing 500 disc. I'm buying it to ride to college and for a bit of training. This is going to be my first road bike and I just wanted to know what size I should buy. I'm 186cm which puts me at a size large according to Lapierre and 2cm off of a an xl. What size should I get? I'm used to MTB where I go a size up and put a really short stem on but it doesn't seem like people do that in road cycling.

Thanks for your help

    Hi
Be careful with Lappiere sizing , check the top tube , they can be fairly long , great bikes mind you.
I had a Zelius and had to let it go, top tube on a 55 was 570 . thought it would be OK but was just to long .
Sensium seems not to be to racy mid you.
    regards
