Frame Sizing Help!

Hi
Thanks to the responses on the forum I've narrowed by choices down to the Cube Attention 29er 17" and the Voodoo Bizango 16". My concern is the frame sizing between the 2 bikes. I'm concerned that the 16" Voodoo will be too small with me being 5 foot 9. But if you look at the geometry measurements the 16" voodoo has a longer top tube length than the 17" Cube.

Is this the most crucial measurement that I should be considering?
Thanks!

Cube doesn't say if that is the actual top tube length or effective top tube length. The voodoos effective top tube length however is quite long for a small bike, but the trend is for smaller stems. For my height of 6ft and a 35 inside leg, I'd probably go for the small size as I have quite a short reach, but I like about an 80mm stem.
I'd certainly try them if unsure.0
