Long cage or short cage

I've a 2x10 setup, rear cassette is an 11-36 and need to replace the current long cage derailleur. Ive a short-cage Shimano Zee in the spares box...will it work as a replacement?

    Work out the capacity you need and see if the Zee has the required capacity.
