Hello,

Wondering if anyone has recommendations for bike insurance? My home insurer just introduced a single bike limit

Cheers,!

Have a search, this comes up a lot.

But the deciding factor will be the number of bikes and their value. If you have a few and they're over 2 or 3 grand each, pedalcover is good.

Whatever way, putting them on a home insurance policy is the cheapest.

Unless you need race accident cover then change home insurer.
  • When we had 3+ relatively new bikes, we used M&S from 2008. But for us, despite no claims, the premium got silly and we changed to AA. Which are now getting silly, so we will be comparing the market again before the renewal date.

I'd just do compare the meerkat or so and see what their suggestions are and check those out. Worked for me.

I just spoke to Pedalcover and they do a combined Home Insurance & Bike Cover.

Compared to my previous quotes I've got from various companies they are way cheaper as well as they cover accessories including clothes, glasses etc. Their home insurance is also very comprehensive so will go for them.
