Hi all

Im looking to buy another new bike and I am stuck between three bikes I really like the look of.
They are:

Santa Cruz Bronson 2 C 2016
-
Santa Cruz 5010 MK2 Carbon R AM 2016
-
Lapierre Zesty AM 927 2015

Which one would you go for and why?

none of them - santa cruz are over priced and the zesty is ugly.

instead of a bronson I'd get a transition patrol, in place of the 5010 I'd get a whyte T130 or transition scout

Either the Santa Cruz 5010 or a Transition Scout.
Both are bombproof, wicked fun to ride, perfect for UK trails and very capable for short travel trail bikes.

Sweet, Ill have a look into those suggestions now.

Basically I have a budget of £3500 and looking for around 150mm travel. if theres anything else you suggest then by all means post it up on here and i will have a look at them.

I am aiming to do a roadtrip round to Austria and the alps
    So many choices xD

Have a look at Mondraker Foxy, The rocky mountain is meant to be great at that travel..

As RC says, both the Scout and 5010 are more than adequate for a shorter travel bike.

If it has to be 150mm then a Bird Aeris would do the job nicely.
    Bird Aeris : Trek Remedy 9.9 29er : Trek Procaliber 9.8 SL

I don't think you can really choose a bike by the amount of suspension travel any more. With bikes like the Scout and 5010 being as capable as most 160mm bikes and more capable than some bigger bikes like the Norco Sight and Specialized Stumpjumper it's all got a bit blurred.
