Time Atacs - opinions

I'm currently have a set of Shimano SPD's on my hardtail an roadbike, but im starting to find the lack of float is hurting my knees during longer rides. I have tried lots of positions an found one that minimises the pain but its still there.

I've heard good things float wise about the Atac's but was wondering if anyone can give some feedback on them or other options with a bit more float to help me out.

My knees are far happier with my Time atac carbon xs pedals than my old spds, had them on my Felt for 10 years, but think they will be going on the Wazoo shortly.
