Just bought a tyre and it's maximum PSI is 80, I'm used to have tyres with maximum inflate to 120psi.

My doubt is, 80psi (max) tyres are worst than 120psi tyres ? Will it influence the performance ?

    I'd usually run about 90 for 23.

Might be fine. They're your tyres. You'll be best placed to judge. IMHO if you want decent tyres always go Gp4000s

If a 23 mm tyre cannot take more than 80 PSI, then it is a very poor quality tyre, probably not worth riding. 80 PSI is not enough pressure to avoid pinch flats in that size.
Out of curiosity, how much did you pay for it?

I paid 18 USD for it, the bike shop did change it for me for a better one. Now I'm using a Vittoria Zaffiro Pro Slick, it's an excelent tyre!
