You go out and have a shedload on frisky Friday. You wake up next to some fat bird. You desperately try to remember "WTF?" "Did someone spike one of my 75 sambucas last nite?

    A 75 Sambuca woman  I draw a line at 6 pints.

Wear it with pride mate... You don't live in Middlesbrough do you, by any chance?

Just done some admin interrupted periodically by Toots getting excited about Andy, Rasta Mouse and Boj. Boj is shyte, hopefully, they will grow out of it.
Going for a walk soon in the cold but sunny conditions when loyal minion turns up. Loyal as we got him back into employment. It helps when you have an army of happy (yes, there are some) ex gulag workers to call in favours.

Must go and sort my FF team...

7.6km ride today because of a torn tyre. Waste of a day really as MrsHD is out for most of the morning so I had it all to myself

Took the girl to see therapist this morning, she's been given a load of things to do to help her cope and we've been told we shouldn't need to take her back. But it may still take time, fingers crossed it works. Then sitting around the house and a bit of supervising as the boy fitted a stereo into the Mini. He got it working, then blew a fuse. A quick chech revealed he needs to be more careful with connections. He'll learn. He's off to a party tonight and has asked to take the car if he doesn't drink. That's a worry. Quiet night for me and the Mrs though.

Ace day today. No kids, nice meal, I tried to talk the date into a meal at V68 suggestion of Monty's Nepalese but she wasn't having it. Plenty of booze and nakedness, yum.

They didn't fit idiot diodes to car stereo's for no reason. In line fuse was it?

That was the first thing I checked and it was fine. He'd managed to blow one of the fuses in the box the permanent live was taken from. He now knows how to use a test light to check for power.

    Progress then. Multi-meter next?

Have you suggested putting a tongue across the terminals: "If there's a current, you should feel a slight 'tingle' "?
