After a heavyweight weekend of racing over the roads of Belgium, it's time for the guys to relax at the Strada Bianche sportive in Italy on Saturday, 5th March.

Featuring a rolling parcour through the vinyards of Tuscany, we will be following the 'Pro Tour' option of 176km and as much food and drink as they can manage.

Whilst recognising that it is not a race as such, the organisers will be recording the order the riders finish and we will be using that as the basis for the PTP scoring at this event.

Details of the route here

List of riders here

PTP entries in before noon on the day please.

Enjoy the race!

It's lovely to see all this early season enthusiasm, don't let me stop you. However, I will take all your first picks unless any changes are clearly signposted.

    Stybar.

    And rain, please.

I'd also like to say thanks to everyone who makes this happen before I inevitably fall out with myself over my rubbishness post Tour.
It's not so much about winning, I just hate losing.

Apparently it is his last year riding sportives, too many amateurs who don't know the rules of the road mean he keeps crashing and breaking bones. So going for CANCELLARA to show these upstarts how it's done.

Kennaugh.... unless Froome sneaks up the inside at the last to pip him unnecessarily.
