Hi all

The Fighting Cocks Granfondo has been arranged again for Saturday 18 Jun 2016. It sets off from Cliviger in Lancashire and goes through some beautiful parts of Lancs and Yorks, including a section of the 2014 Tour de France.

The distance is about 68 miles but don't let this fool you. There are some monster climbs.
The start and finish point is Ninos at the fighting cocks, a well known local Italian Restaurant that also specialises in real ales, perfect for a post ride pint!

The entry is £20 which includes a hearty mid ride luncheon

Right... I've sent this to my mate as it's literaly 10 miles away from us and features roads we ride all the time. It's worth £20 to have a a good event to aim at and have a decent day out with a free lunch.

The new route looks good - a couple of longer climbs in place of two steep buggers!

Bump, riding this tomorrow and it's massively under subscribed according to the BC website but thats not to mean people won't turn up on the day.

I'll be in a white Navara (on the car park obvs...)

I'm on family duties so can't ride, but I know of at least three riders from our club who are going. It's going to be a nice day weather-wise too so I'm gutted :-(

After Lamps Moss and Butterton today I'm not sure how I'm going to handle it... not done the distance this year. Or the climbing :)

You smashed it up Cragg Vale though, much to my disappointment...
