Record 11 speed rear derailleur
I need to fit a new mounting sleeve: http://www.totalcycling.com/en/Campagno ... 21179.aspx as one of the raised parts has snapped off.
This means removing the double bolt that attaches the derailleur to the frame. The bolt regularly requires a standard six point T25, and the back has a regular T30 fitting, but this is two ends of the same bolt.
To remove the double bolt requires use of another tool (a 5 point T30?) inserted in the T25 slot and turned anti-clockwise against the T30 - it's apparently tough to remove because Campagnolo use blue Loctite here to stop the bolt undoing when removing the derailleur from the frame via the T25.
My question is, has anyone successfully done this, and if so what tool did you use.
This is the only info I could find: http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum ... =3&t=94308

Does the Veloce have the double bolt, or is it held by a circlip, as they all used to be?0 -

I think the difficulty and risk of damage would make me send it of to velotech services. They will turn it round pretty quickly. It is doable of course but you will have to visit some good auto stores to get that 5 star T30.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0

Got a reply from CampagService:
"That repair can only be done by the Campag distributed/warranty centre. Return it to the shop you bought it from and they will send it to them."0 -
Returned to Wiggle, they returned it to Campagnolo, got a warranty refund today.
Great service.0
