Fresh ground made in a moka pot at the weekends, cafetiere/instant at work (depends on who's brewing up) and instant before work as I CBA to get up any earlier than I absolutely have to. Sat here waiting for my subscription from Has Bean to drop through the letter box.

I suppose non coffee drinkers would consider me a coffee snob but I wouldn't be considered a snob by the true coffee snobs.

*Pedant mode* You should take the apostrophe out of taste's in your poll.

three? there's only one sane choice there, espresso; now if there were also options for ristretto and café solo, that would be another matter

Should be a Nespresso/pod option if there's an instant option?
I refuse to answer till you add it!
All lies and jest..still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest....
  • I usually grind my beans to have fresh coffee then put through the machine , at weekends I have coffee through a tassimo machine , when I'm at work I drink instant Nescafé gold blend only , as no decent coffee anywhere .

    Latte, cappucino and instant :)

We also need a poll for which other types of coffee drinker do you look down your noses at and what is your country of origin. Should be quite telling

Coffee = espresso. All other answers redundant.

Go into any Italian bar, ask for a coffee. You will receive a perfect single espresso. This is correct. Go in to StarCostPretNero, ask for a coffee, get an inquisition. This is incorrect and should be stopped. By force if necessary.

ps. Latte? Latte? A) this means milk. Go into the same Italian bar, ask for a latte (note: short 'a', as not pronounced correctly by stupid American *&^$**#$^) and you will receive a glass of milk. This is correct. B) A cafe l-Arrr-tte as served in CostaPretNeroStar is a warm coffee-flavoured milkshake. This is not a drink for adults.

You may, if you wish to commit a small sin, have a capuccino or (better) a macchiato. At breakfast. At no other time.

    I hope this is clear.

Start liking the taste of something I don't like the taste of? Or just make it taste nice by adding milk. One is a bit easier than the other...

Espresso at work, and rather too much of it. I don't have a machine at home so Red Bush tea at home.

I would not buy instant coffee, if I don't have *time to make coffee properly then the man at the café does :D

    * I assume this can be the only reason for drinking this stuff.

If you don't have time to make 'proper' coffee, how do you have time to go to the cafe and back?

    Double espresso, glass of water.

It shouldn't, but it does annoy me when I go into an establishment whose sole existence is the production of coffee & the staff call it an expresso.
  • Well Pinno, I got the ball rolling. Coffee is a warm drink that is not tea (or chocolate, etc...) Instant with sweeteners, ta. Camp coffee is excellent, although I haven't had some for ages. Thanks for your prompt, I will look out for some.
I have recently been away and found espresso a great legal performance enhancing drug for exams. It was that or Ritalin, and I couldn't find any quickly enough.

    I like this answer.
Although I do order a doppio, or use a 3 cup moka.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.
