The Wild Boar Chase is back for another year on Sunday May 15th 2016.

A Mountain Bike challenge with up to 45 miles of Forest tracks and Bridleways with short sections of quiet roads in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. The Small Boar, the shortest route will provide an enjoyable challenge for riders who are looking for a little more than the Freeminer and Verderers Trail at Cannop Cycle Centre. The Full and Wye Boar will take you out of the Forest and down rocky descents and up long picturesque climbs of the Wye Valley.

Distance/Difficulty:
4 routes are provided ranging from 21 to 45 miles
Route Options
The Full Boar (45 miles) covers the whole profile shown above.
In the Wye Boar (40 miles), riders take the Wye Valley Loop.
In the Forest Boar (26 miles) riders tackle the Forest Loop.
The Small Boar (21 miles) leaves the Full Boar at about 15 miles.

All the organisers and helpers on this event are volunteers. After the Wild Boar Chase in 2015 the Lions were able to award more than £15,000 from the event’s proceeds to worthy causes in the Forest of Dean.
All riders will get a FREE entry into the Prize Draw.

Entry Fee - £23 for Adults / £12 for 11-18 Year Olds
