  • I use Michelin latex tubes in my 25mm Bontrager R3 fitted to a 24mm wheelsmith aero rim.

    I like the feel, very comfy and fast, but also the tube weighed about a third of the weight of my butyl tubes. Almost free weight saving imo

    Had latex tubes with paves last summer and they were lush and only one puncture on the rear when it had got pretty worn;the paves cut up quite a lot and had to check for flints but the latex tubes held up fine.
    The puncture was actually when I had moved them to the winter bike last autumn after I got some Clements for the Helium and were being run with butyl tubes.
