Keeping your 'Little Chap' Warm

So, when the temp drop to below zero I find it can be a little painful 'downstairs' even though I am wearing padded Roubaix tights, just wondering what others on here do to stay comfortable?
I see 2 options...
1. wear padded shorts and then a pair of un-padded thermal tights over the top
or
2. wear a sock over the little guy to help keep him warm... in fact, that's what I'm going to do on Friday!
Thanks
Andrew

Not something I've really suffered with. Besides, my socks are too big.0

I usually tuck him into one of socks I'm wearing at the time.Pinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי0

I guess warmer bibs is the only real solution. Anything else would just be uncomfortable.
You could always try the old deep heat, but i imagine you would spend the ride screaming from the pain!0 -

If you're tucking him into a sock you're wearing, always tuck him into your left sock...avoids the risk of it getting caught in your chainset0 -
Slather him in Deep Heat before you set off.0

Live with it and negotiate a rejuvenating massage when you get home.0

Not all roubaix tights are equal. The castelli stuff tends to be a little thinner than the DHB stuff I find.
Maybe just cycle faster?Specialized Allez Sport 20130
