This could of course all be an elaborate smokescreen to cover the fact that he's actually getting free DHB gear from Wiggle for posting all those reviews.

I was just researching some summer mtb shoes. Shimano xc61, 70 or Giro empire vr70

I'm platinum but it's hardly worth having most of the time as virtually everything I ever want to buy seems to already have more than 12% off. Hardly rewards your loyalty :-(

I'm a bit "off" Wiggle at the moment. They took over a week to process a refund after receiving the Sportful Fiandre Extreme jacket I returned. It was an expensive outlay so ideally wanted it dealt with quickly for cash flow reasons. By comparison, Evans dealt with a refund on a returned CX Speedsuit same day.

Had some XC61s. Nice light shoes but a bit narrow for me so replaced with some Sidi Dragon 4s Those Empires do look nice though.

No discount here either. No even when in basket and all the way through checkout

If you bank with lloyds they have some offers on their debit cards so you get 5 or 10% cashback on things. Wiggle is one of them. So you get the cashback as well as the wiggle discount when it works.... You have to opt in annoyingly though.

I noticed the same thing on Sunday. I went to place an order but no personal discount. Came back to my basket about 20mins later and my 12% was there. Really strange.
