Heya Guys I've been fortunate to have an Ibis Mojo 3 for a while, and now that it's released have posted a review of it.

The Mojo 3 is definitely going to give guys something to think about. 27.5+ just got sexy!

Can be run as either 27.5 or as a 27.5+, I must admit I'd love to try one, do miss my old Mojo HD from time to time!

    29" or 27.5"+ I think you'd find.

True of most 27.5+ bikes, but not this one. It is designed around 27.5" wheels but will take a max size of 27.5x28". 29er don't fit the Mojo 3.

Yes correct and the reason why the Mojo 3 is 27.5/27.5+ NOT 27.5+/29 are discussed here

Great bike by the sounds of it but I really don't get all this plus size tyre bikes what is wrong with the decent sized 2.35/4 tyre any larger and its just going to drag and wouldn't like to ride one up hills.

Was out at the weekend and on the my short travel hard tail 120mm travel, 2.35 tyres aren't great in muddy wet conditions I was dragging a bit in some sections.

Think these plus size must be designed for places like Australia where it is pretty much dry all year round where you would benefit from quick rolling of a larger tyre.

Thanks, it's a fun bike, that can be set up with 2.25/2.35/2.4 etc instead of Plus.

If a rider wants a fast/light setup or there is already plenty of traction in his/her area, a 2.2-2.4 tire will be great. Also, wide tires don’t work as well in the mud so if you’ve got sticky mud, take the plus tires off (We're talking to you, U.K!). You’ll have huge clearance for your thinner mud spikes. All of our initial testing was on 2.35/2.25 tires and with those size tires, the bike rips.

Set up with Plus tires the bike rips In dry low grip conditions. The additional drag of 2.8's over 2.35-2.5 is negligible, something like 1% - discussed elsewhere online.

It's negligible in the dry. In muddy conditions it's going to be a lot worse.

    That's probably why -
