RockShox Reverb Stealth QUESTION...

Can anyone help on this?...much appreciated...
I'm about to get a dropper seatpost (Rock Shox Reverb Stealth). Been thinking of doing it for a good few months. Can I go for the bigger drop on an Orange Five? Not sure how to work this out, been digging online too. I'd like to drop a low as possible.
Another question; can you only ride with the seat in either fully dropped or extended positions? Or can you release and set the post to ANY extension and ride on it? This might be a stupid question, but I have form with that!!
Cheers.

Depends on how much exposed seat post you have , needs to cover the drop plus the collar of the post which can't be inserted in the seat tube. For instance for a 100mm drop I'd expect you'd need between 125-150 mm of exposed post currently.
Then the overall post length needs checking to ensure your frame won't stop you inserting it far enough either0 -
One of the questions here should help, need roughly 190mm of exposed seat post as a minimum for the 125mm drop post

Just had a reverb stealth fitted on my new bike after having the original on my old bike for years without issue.
You can hold the saddle in any position between fully extended and completely dropped using your body weight.
125mm drop is enough for most people. Go for 150 if your frame allows it.For professional MTB & BMX coaching, training & guiding!
