Where to get a saddle bag cover for waterproofing?

So I've had a saddle bag for a while but it broke so need a new one. The old one was absolutely filthy from water splashing up. I do give it a once over with the hose occasionally but haven't put it in the machine. On a dry day its dusty, even inside.

Just got a new one, but the other day I saw someone cycling who had their saddle bag nicely wrapped up in a high viz cover. I thought I'd get one, but cant find one anywhere! They have them panniers or rucksacks, but not small for saddle bags.

I wondered if anyone knew if you can get them anywhere, or if not, any ideas how to make one? Didnt want to wrap it up in a tesco bag with elastic bands, this one I saw was nice and neat and looked good as was high viz. Needs to come off easy too.

Thanks

I believe what you may have seen would be one of the waterproof saddlebags? Rather than having a cover it's just the unit that is waterproof.

    Consider mudguards.

Ortliebs saddle bags are fully waterproof too.

Mine too; came with it's own little cagoule. Very cute. Not that I've ever used it. Last thing I'm worried about when it starts pi$$ing it down is waterproofing my saddle pack. And it's usually been left behind in the garage anyway.

So the seatpacks that are already waterproof would seem to be a good idea...
