xt cassette on ultegra setup - what chain ?

i have to confess that my searches (on this forum and the web) did not provide me the answer.
according my very own logic, the chain should match with the cassette and the chain ring (all 10 speed). my front shifter is not indexed, so i trim it anyway...
so i tend to buy a hg-x (mountain) chain in order to smooth things out on the back... or should i buy an ultegra one ?
the other option could be a sram cassette, but i read they are noisier... help ?

Or just buy a KMC 10sp chain which will work with Road and MTB transmissions.

i was thinking that shimano chains are more fitted for shimano gears...

my gf runs exactly same setup, shimano hg95 mtb chain works best, followed by kmc.

ok, thanks. i guess hg95 it'll be... i'll have a girlie setup... but only 2 teeth apart from contador...
