Heel replacement for S-Works shoes

I've got some old but beloved Specialized S-works shoes and the synthetic heels have pretty much crumbled away and are damaging the carbon sole. I wondered if anyone had some ideas on what to do. Specialized weren't a great deal of help besides suggesting taking them to a specialist walking/rock climbing shoe repair place. Any recommendations for that in London or other solutions? I might try the local cobbler but I don't know what they could do besides take the heel completely off and superglue some rubber onto the carbon. Not ideal.
Cheers
