Hey!
Beginner roadcyclist here! But not a beginner cyclist. I have been riding many many bikes and I have a lot of kilometers under my Insera hybrid. Now I have decided that I want a good road bike and I mean decend. My local bikeshop has these two bikes on sale. The Ride 4000 is 1400 euros and Specialized Comp is 1279 euros. This might seem like a obvius choice but the Merida they have is only 56cm and they cant order more. My inseem is 89cm and I'm 184cm tall. I asked in the bikeshop that is the 56cm enough they said like "I think It might fit". So I'm little sceptical. In the other hand the Comp has 56, 58 and 61 available. They both have pretty similiar components and I think both of them look very cool. So what should I go for? And btw here's the bikes http://www.raispo.fi/polkupyorat/specia ... allez-comp" target="_blank
And the Merida: http://www.raispo.fi/polkupyorat/merida ... -ride-4000" target="_blank

Thank you in advance!

Both bikes in 56cm may fit you, if they are both on sale in your local bike shop can't you ask to try them both for size? You can try both the 56cm & 58cm Specialized bikes for comparison to see which size fits you the best, that will help you determine if the Merida will also fit, or is too small.

Or should I go with Bianchi C2C Tiagra Intenso? It is also at 1400 euro mark. But it has tiagras which is a let down

If you like the Merida, shop abroad where they will be able to get the frame in the size you want and cheaper than the UK even after delivery charges. I did the very same with my Reacto buying from a French dealer saving around £250/Euro325 on the UK price.
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.
