Merlin Malt 2 - 2003

Rock Lobster SV

My first one up is my Old Red, my Merlin Malt 2 which I bought from Merlin Cycles in 2003, although the only parts that still exist from 2003 are the frame, forks, shifters and front brake.
Now the details.

Frame - Merlin Malt 2. It didn't come with any decals as Merlin didn't have any left at the time and said they would sent them out to me later but they never came. Not to worry though as I kind of liked the clean frame.
Forks - Marzocchi Bomber MX Pro
Drivetrain - Shimano XT
Wheels - Mavic717 rims on Hope hubs with Hope skewers wrapped in Panracer Fire XC Pro 2.1 tyres
Brakes - Magura Julie
Seatpost - Thomson Elite with Hope Clamp and SDG saddle
Headset - Hope
Stem - Easton EA50, although I now have a Thomson on there
Bars - Easton EC70 flats, now have Easton EC90 flats
Grips - Race Face Good n Evil
