Hello

are all 10spd Shimano cassette bodies the same please? If not, when buying a new one what do I need to know (or find on the present body) in order for the new body to fit perfectly?
Thanks for any help

Assuming by body you mean the freehub, then no - they're wheel-specific. If you mean the cassette (the cogs) then yes, all *road* Shimano 10-speed cassettes are the same fit. Anything from Tiagra to Dura-Ace will go on the same freehub.

Are you referring to the cassette sprockets or the freehub that the cassette sprockets slide onto?

Hi, yes the body not the cassette itself. The reply before yours says they are wheel specific. Damn! So, how do i go about getting another to fit my wheel or i guess the hub?

thanks to folks for giving up time to answer this

Generally problems with freehubs affect the bearings which can often be replaced without having to get a new freehub.
