Cube Reaction BB30 Shimano Spindle Short

I have a 2012/3 cube reaction gtc and the spindle length is short and the left crank has a gap of a few mm,s - enough that the end screw doesn't reach the spindle. Is this a known issue - it looks from the grease line that it has been like this from new. Issue is that the LH crank keeps falling off. The shimano bearings have an overlap on the BB which equates to the shortfall. Help!

Are the right amount of spacers fitted, BB shells are standard at 68mm or 73mm.I don't do smileys.

It's all as it should be and I've dismantled it and cleaned everything. The crank side is flush with the bearing but it's still short0

I didn't think Shimano did bearings for BB30? Or indeed BB30 chainsets...
What BB / bearings do you have?

The bearings are bb71 and it's an xt crank0
