Apologies if there's already a post on this elsewhere.
Cycle Sport got a revamp a few months ago: what do you think?
I've subscribed for a decade, and bought it on and off since it launched, and until recently it's been consistently my favourite cycling monthly. I admired it's stance on doping after the 2006 Tour; appreciated that it tried to change its use of photography in the wake of what Rouleur was doing with cycling photography); it stoked my love of the cobbled classics.
For me, it's now lost its soul.
It's changed hands (from IPC to Time Inc) which makes me think that its dwindling sales meant IPC got rid of it;
The staff have been cut - only a handful of writers seem to do all the work now (and the best writers: Lionel Birnie, Ed Pickering, Ellis Bacon and Richard Moore all seem to have moved to ProCycling);
At the expense of the opinion and editorial and features, they boast of more space for more interviews with top cyclists, but how many interviews with sportspeople do you remember 10 minutes later (there are exceptions, I know)?
It feels glossier but less substantial.

I think you're right. I've just cancelled my subscription - it's gone downhill in a big way IMO. Was never the same after they ditched the Broom Wagon section anyway......CS7
