Bike box on airport transfer

Has anyone ever taken a bike box on an airport shuttle transfer? The terms limit luggage to a size a bit smaller than a bike box and i'm not sure if i should risk it. Even the pre bookable private taxis limit the size.

I'm flying to Malaga at the end of February and have uncharacteristically booked flights including my bike without thoroughly researching first.

They seem to do airport transfers so maybe worth contacting them??

Thanks bronco. They were closed for the winter.

There's actually a train from the airport heading west, so I've booked Torremolinos and i'll use the train.
