If any body on this board is thinking about entering this race this year be very careful, last years race was on the tv the other night and two of the Pro Cyclists were murdered, even worse one of them was made to ride on treaded tyres!"

    Ha ha, I started to watch that Midsomer Murders episode as I had heard it was based around a cycle race. While they tried hard to make the set look like a pro cycle race with team kit and cyclists warming down on rollers etc., the main characters just didn't look like cyclists in my opinion. I got a bit bored with the storyline and gave up watching it about halfway through the episode.
