Entered this MTB 31 mile loop event (happening in March) starting at Salisbury Racecourse and taking in Broadchalke, Alvedistone, Bowechalke and Bishopstone. Not ridden this area before so was just wondering if anyone else knows the area and can say whether it's particularly fun or not? Event details mention a good portion of singletrack but looks like a fair volume of surfaced road to me looking at google maps and the designated route (via ukcyclingevents.co.uk).

Anyone else booked up on this?

I have ridden some of the route. Fairly boring terrain to be honest.

Thanks RM - you've somewhat confirmed what I had presumed! Of course I knew it wouldn't be a hugely exhilarating event but I was hoping for a few fun singletrack hills to pelt down. Thanks for commenting.
