I still have next week in the diary. Is anyone joining me?
Yep, as long as I'm back home by 11.30.

Ok- sounds like no stopping for a relaxing coffee then!

And seriously, don't expect me to be going anywhere fast.

I had written "bike ride a.m." on the calendar. Being something of a literalist, my other half has therefore booked a family lunch at Cannizaro House for 12.30.

I'm quite able to leave an hour earlier, so 8 a.m start, 3 or so hours riding plus half an hour coffee stop. All I really need to do is jump in the shower and then jump in the car when I get back, so 11.30 isn't set in stone.

I wasn't expecting to be going anywhere fast either!

Shall we say 8.30 if that is ok with everyone? Afternoon time to ingratiate myself with the family often leads to more riding time!

Some of us needed two coffee stops! Thoroughly enjoyed the ride, thank you.
Just been to the pub round the corner for a roast. Might fall asleep now.

The good company helped! I have eaten my own body weight in Korean food for lunch. I may allow myself a beer later...

sounds good and i may have joined you except that I had my own ride planned for Sunday, Epsom to Brighton and back. A nice little 100 miler. Was cold but dry.

I plan on doing this next month too, anyone up for joining me? Epsom is circa 9 miles from Clapham Common so pretty easy to get to.

Here's a video to give you an idea of the riding

    Tomorrow Will Do

We don't go balls out, just a nice steady 15 mph average

Looks good but doubt I'd manage the poor state I'm in at the moment. Keep us posted though.

okay, and accepting that less than 12 hours notice is probably not enough for most, same offer for Thursday, weather is looking the same (just a headwind home instead).

That's not bad, but a far cry from this in 20 degrees sunshine... mind you I had one full gel along the way to gorge on...
