Would this be an appropriate time to mention that WD40 isn't much cop as a lubricant, too thin and not it's primary function, so you should have used something heavier as it will start squeaking before long. ;-)
I've just submitted the accounts for the scout troop to the Charities Commission 3 days before the deadline. 2 days earlier than last year then.

I took the wife out for lunch. She enjoyed the lunch. She is happy.
Actually, that is a major win.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Large chunks of my online HR performance management thing have disappeared.

So I don't have to waste my time inventing pointless objectives and linking them in some tenuous way to the overall company strategy and values. :D

I'm sure now I've reported it's absence it will reappear at some point in the future :(

Not so minor if you work for MI6.

I sent a letter to HMRC in an envelope with a stamp, as I decided it would be quicker than trying to call them on the telephone. Though I have left it eighteen months since I tried to call them to tell them which employment to deduct PAYE from, given how rude they were not to answer my call. That's a victory.

I still have had to pay the tax though. I guess that's their victory, though I have had the money in my account rather longer than I would have done otherwise.

    2-1 to me.

    Where did it go?

Incidentally, did you know that the past tense of 'go' is actually nicked from 'wend'? I wonder where 'goed' went.
