Hi guys, just wondering if a 700c wheel would fit on my 29er hardtail as I have started doing 40/50 miles per ride every now and again however if I was doing trails could just flip back to the 29ers. Is this possible?

Cheers

    700c is 29 inch.

    Assume both are disc hubs?

Ditto and what have you got up front Maxle or skewer. If you are on road why not get a (an?) hybrid or a car.?

To clarify, you can just fit narrow road tyres to your 29er wheels, depending on rim width down to a 28x700c
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
