Does anyone here like tennis?

We have Andy Murray in the Men's singles semi-final
Jo Konta in the Women's singles semi-final
Jamie Murray in the Men's Doubles sem-final

Not a bad tournament really!

Jo Konta, born in Sydney to Hungarian parents and was representing Australia as recently as 2012, Yay lets all get behind her

    Doubles = Pants

Andy Murray great as always. Another final beckons, lets hope Djokovic and Federer knacker each other out.

Not really true, moved to the UK when she was 14 for non tennis reasons and only took British Citizenship in 2012 when she was 21 and less than 1 year after she could have done (needs to have lived in the UK for 6 years to qualify).

why not get behind her? who else do we have?

News of match fixing and at the same time a player that's never got anywhere is suddenly in the semi's. Nothing going on there, move along now please.
Having lived in Wimbledon for my formative years I've developed a tennis intolerance.

Nothing to write home, younger than she looks.

However I have enjoyed the tennis and the way she has managed to sort her head out has been fantastic. Good to see some tennis players doing well. Not seen enough of the games to shout about the tourny tho

    Good question.

Works out time difference, fails. Sat or sun morning? Maybe Djokovic will get injured.

Andy gets beat on Sunday morning. Match starts 08:30, shown on Eurosport.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

  • So I'm not the only one who thinks Murray has a real problem beating Djokovic? Still, he'll be a plucky Scot when he loses.

What it's happening in the doubles? Is the other Murray still in?

A real problem beating the World #1, and on track to be the best player ever? I would expect so.
    Q2, yes, in the final.
