Have you been to an Evans shop to view the bikes or are you ordering online? Apart from the framesets and finishing components, they both have the same groupset, apart from the crankset on the Trek and tubeless ready wheels. So comes down to ride, looks and cost. Both bikes are reputed to be smooth rides and it you are confident that you are going to be fine with each bikes geometry/fit then as is often quoted on here, buy the one you like the look of best.0

Both good - get your local Evans to get them both into the shop and then have a look up close, and try them both out on a test ride. They are both 'endurance' frames, so are designed to do the same job (ie more comfortable than out-and-out race geometry).
I like the look of the BMC personally, but as for quality I don't think there's that much between them. As said by DJ58, it probably comes down to aesthetics more than owt else.0 -
I don't think the Trek has 105 brakes whilst the BMC does, which is a big plus in my opinion but then again you could upgrade the Trek brakes for less than the difference in price the BMC is.
I personally love the frameshape of the BMC and to me it looks a more expensive bike than it actually is.0 -
