Evening!
We're off to Ambleside for a stag do (mainly mountain biking) in March. Could anyone recommend where to go out in Ambleside, please? Any night clubs? Decent curry houses?

IIRC the nearest night club is at Bowness-on-Winderemere at the other end of the Lake about 6 miles away.There's a couple of Indian restaurants but it's a good few years since I've used either.There's plenty of decent Pubs but it's likely to be quiet in March!0

There is a nightclub in Ambleside. Or there was. I was there for a stag do a few years ago and you had to know who to get tickets off (bloke in a pub somewhere) and it was all very hush hush locals only sort of thing. A bit weird if you ask me. There's a curry house above the Tesco Express that I wouldn't recommend, it was bring your own booze though so stock up in tesco if you do go there.
Just have a few pints and a good nights sleep and stay fresh for more riding.0
