First big bike

Hi all

The baby days are over and my son has got his first big bike for his 7th birthday. It's a 20" B'twin mountain bike from decathlon. Now, we used to be able to fit the kids bikes in the boot and mine on the bike rack; not any more. I have a rear mounted bike rack and the boys bike will be too short for it. I am sure I have seen a contraption for putting shorter bikes on, although Google isn't bringing much up. Has anyone seen such a contraption?

Cheers

I looked around a few years ago when I had the same issue, finally came up with the idea of strapping it using short ratchet straps to my other bikes with scaffold pole foam / pipe lagging in between to stop damaging the frames. Finally picked up a pendle towbar mounted rack cheap off ebay that the wheels sit in a frame.

Thanks for the reply. I'll try something like that short term. I don't have a tow bar, so long term I'll get one. The next issue is when my daughter gets a 20" wheel bike too
