Hello !

I'm looking for a very good wheelset (not fixed - so will need a flip/flop hub) under 300£ (250£ will be better) to replace a bad wheelset (focale 44).
I'm 72kg and I'm riding in countryside (and the top mountain is at 250m around here).
Any idea ? (I'm lost to find a wheelset with a flip/flop hub)

Talk to a wheelbuilder Flip flop hubs are ten a penny and not expensive. Novatec, Miche, Formula, BLB (novatec), Ambrosio (novatec again) all do them. Lace them to inexpensive rims. Plenty of decent ones about at the £35 mark like DT Swiss R460, Kinlin XR22t, or the narrower Kinlin XR270 or Mavic open Pro...... use silver spokes and the cost will be in budget.

I am sure there must be a decent one somewhere near you.

As I said talk to a wheel builder. Plenty about. they will build those components into a complete wheelset for you.

You can buy of the shelf as well but I also know that build quality varies. For off the shelf Miche Pista wheels are pretty decent and cheap you can have better though ( a wider rim) if you go the "custom" route.
