I'm thinking of getting my first GPS unit and I am trying to decide between the Garmin Edge 200 and Garmin 25. I don't need anything super fancy at this stage. Thoughts:

Garmin Edge 200
* Cheap ~£60
* Longer battery life
* Discontinued
* Easy to charge from an external battery on the go

Garmin Edge 25
* ~£100
* Shorter battery life
* Ant+ for cadence and HR
* Bluetooth for syncing with phone

So what do you think?

    I'd probably go for the edge 25, it is newer so the software will be supported for longer.

    amazon currently have £10 off over £50 spend so takes it under £100 too.

  • Plugging it into your PC with a cable after every ride would be a PITA. Plus cadence and HR sensors are relatively cheap and once you've ridden with them you are not going to want to be without.
  • Thanks. Sounds like Edge 25 is the best bet.
