ANT+ Bontrager Trip 300

Hi all.

I don't post very often, but have found a great wealth of info in these forums.
But, I have an ANT+ issue - have done a search but can't find any relevant answers, so...

I have a Bontrager Trip 300 which, according to this site...

is compatible with a Garmin cadence sensor...

Mine requires pairing each time I ride - is this correct, or is there some incompatibility issues with the equipment?

I'd be grateful for any help, advice, or some insight that may help me solve this problem.

    Doesn't sound right to me. My Garmin picks up it's HRM as soon as I turn it on.

    Mine is the other way around - Bontrsger comp can't pick up the Garmon sensor?

    They can be paired, but once the ride is over they 'divorce' and need re-pairing on the next ride.

    Any ideas?
