I have just obtained a Cilo Stratos frame. I am looking for more information and specs for the bike. I am aware they were made in Switzerland up to 2002, I believe mine had Shimano 600 mechs-brakes etc. The frame and forks are Columbus Chromo. Any further information or experience of these bikes would be appreciated.

Sorry that I can't give you much further info on your bike, but there are still loads of Cilo bikes being ridden around Basel. There's a lovely red one with chrome forks I see at the station. If yours is built up with Shimano 600 it would have been a higher end bike in its day. I still use 600 on my commuting bike, still works perfectly after 25 years. I see a lot of pink and white ones, which doesn't really work in my opinion, but the red and chrome Cilo at a the station is very nice.
