Just a quick heads up for this shop in South London (Colliers Wood). I'd managed to mangle my rear mech hanger on my steel trainer/commuting bike and they brazed on a new part, colour matched the paint and also straightened my back wheel, did the gears and brakes all in one day for £70!
This is a proper old school bike shop, been there 100 years apparently. The gent who did the work says that he has been there for 50 years; they just don't make 'em like this any more. Well worth checking out before it (sadly but inevitably I suspect) disappears. Also a tip of the hat to Crazy Horse cycles in Balham, who couldn't do the work but suggested that I try AW. Great service all 'round.

I took my bike there a couple of times about 10-15 years ago and have a friend who went recently. The guy seemed old school back then so I can't imagine what it's like now but it's definitely a great lbs. I live nearer to Crazy Horse now and use them, interesting to know they weren't able to do the work.0
