Climbing now. The camera bikes must have been repossessed by the bank."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0

But compared to 2015, 2014, 2013 etc this (camera bikes I mean!) is good coverage. 2013 I seem to recall a camera phone or something of that nature filming Bertie coming up the mountain. Last year they filmed the whole climb of the big mountain stage from the International Space Station... spectacular I suppose but not much use for watching a race.

It's a very picturesque finish, sort of. I do like how the static camera condenses that climb.
Bit like that Isle Of Skye bridge shot. Now where is it?...seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

I haven't got the faintest idea what is going on. Just a load of cycling ants.0

It's the annual cycling equivalent of a hairshirt, testing devotion. TDU apart (which I watch on fast forward before work), when was the last decent racing on? At the end of 2015, they even tried to test us with the odd televising of that Chinese chipper, the Tour of Taihu Lake... panflat, empty roads along bleak industrial canals, raced by a field of continental nonames.0
