Solaris build - Which headset?

Hi all,

Bought a new cotic solaris frame which I'm building but I'm lost has to what headset i need :? having not built a bike needing an external headset in a long time.

Im going to be running pikes RCT3 forks on the frame

According to the specs i need a 44mm cup

Can anyone link me to one that i need?

Any headset that has a 44mm diameter, a 1 1/8" upper cup and a 1 1/2" lower cup will do fine. As it's a 44mm headtube, your lower cup will need to be external to cope with the 1.5" lower portion of the steerer, but the upper cup can be external or internal. Presumably the forks are new, if not you'll need to take into account the length of the steerer tube when working out how much stack height you can get away with.
