Cassette spline

Hi. Is it possible to remove the 'spline hub' ? from the rear wheel.
I am not sure of the correct name for the part.
I have put a yellow cross on the part i mean in attachment.

    It's a freehub, and yes, they come off.

    Undo locknut and cone from one end, remove axle (collecting loose bearing balls along the way) Allen key up inside to remove the freehub.

    Refitting is the reverse of removal!
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
