Hi sweethearts
Sooooooo tired - friend stayed here far, far past his time limits last night - #over stayed welcome.
Today has been, and will mostly be, spent in a daze of tiredness watching Teen Titans with the Bambini and reading books.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

House bound today due to idleness. Making bread and chicken curry*. Having cider now, beer later. Cold so woodburner going on in a minute.
Might try a bike ride tomorrow.
*Bread as in a loaf of bread. Chicken curry is a separate thing. Will not contain bread.

chickened out of going out in the cold. I have missed seeing black ice before and it hurt - me and the bike.
3 hours on the rollers instead.0 -

Coldest day of the year so far, 9c first thing this morning, went out on the bikes when it reached 12c
Sunny 18c this afternoon.
Just thinking about lighting the wood burner.
60 minutes on the rollers is my maximummy isetta is a 300cc bike0 -
'Kin cold ride this morning with the only aim of not falling off.
Indian Take away and Everest downloaded, both for later consumption.
It's the last day tomorrow for entering the Fred and I'm still debating if upim strong enough.....“Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. Teach a man to cycle and he will realize fishing is stupid and boring”

I don't know how anyone manages anywhere near an hour on rollers. Any form of stationary machine whether its bike, treadmill or rowing machine just makes my brain try to escape from its skull to avoid the boredom.
Today has been doing various jobs and exercising the hound a fair bit in the park. He didn't seem interested in chasing ducks and looked a bit cautious when it came to swans. Went down the opticians and decided the new pair of specs I quite liked wasn't worth it and I'd make do with what I've got.

Drizzly rain and cold here today. I believe the Scots have a word for it. So had some beers, then steak for tea. No Xmas food was consumed, mainly cos it was consumed at Xmas. Did have some pork scratchings, though. These may be as good as black pudding.Ecrasez l’infame0 -

Front Wheel in snow and RWD in the wet for fun. RWD just doesn't do anything except spin

It's all about the tyres. Wide low profile tyres are no good in snow, skinny tyres with tread will cut through and find grip. Rear wheel drive is an absolute blast in snow, more fun in any conditions. 4WD has more grip to get you going, but they won't stop any faster which a lot of idiots forget.
If we do get any decent snow I'll be driving the Mini rather than the Audi, that's for sure.0 -

My C200 sport had LSD's and it was A1 in the snow (RWD for the uninitiated).seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
I had an XJ which would have given Torville & Dean a run for their money in the snow.0
