Advice please!!
Looking to buy a full suspension XC bike for local races.
Currently have my eye on the Tallboy and the Spearfish in similar build specs, but can't decide.
Any suggestions are welcome to help me make an informed decision. (keeping in mind I'm in the middle of Africa and don't have opportunity to go test ride these bikes, so I have to rely on "expert" advice before parting with large amount of cash and importing the bike)

If you can wait till April the rumour is Santa Cruz are announcing an updated version of the Tallboy more inline with recent changes to the 5010 and Bronson although this could potentially make is less XC and more trail bike.

Trek Top Fuel would be a good shout for races.

I don't think you're going to be disappointed with either. I don't think either is a focused race bike though .
