I have a Specialized Rockhopper comp 29.
Looking to upgrade the Forks along with the front wheel.
Budget is under £300.

As Cooldad says it depends what's on the bike now and also why you want to change
A quick google would suggest that it most likely has a coil fork fitted, so obvious upgrade is to an air fork.

If you have a tapered headtube they'll be much better.I don't do smileys.

They also use a 20mm axle, I expect your current wheels are QR so to use hat fork you'd likely also need a new front wheel0

20mm axles on a 100mm XC 29er fork? Seems like overkill and most 20mm front wheels will be burlier (and heavier) than you'd want on an XC hardtail. A pointless configuration IMHO, but reasonable priceCurrent fleet
