New front light needed

Now I know there are already plenty of threads on new front lights and also plenty of reviews online but the majority of it doesn't cover one specific requirement that I need.
I am looking for a powerful light, around 700-800 lumens but one that is easy to switch between modes when you are wearing gloves. I often go out for 2-3 hours or even more at night and I don't think any lights last 3 hours+ on full mode hence why I need to switch between modes. I also live in an area where it's almost certain I will be riding between areas with street lighting and not. Max budget is £100 but I'd rather spend less if possible.
I currently have a FWE (Evans) 150 lumen front light which is pretty impressive for the price but even that doesn't last more than 2 hours on full mode and it's simply not bright enough to ride at any sort of speed on unlit roads. I will probably attach this to my helmet and use it on flashing mode once I purchase a new one.
Any suggestions for a replacement?

I have the CatEye 700 which I think is fantastic and hits all your criteria above. Since been replaced by the 800, and Cycle Surgery have it for a great price at the moment of £69.

Thanks, that is the main one (and the 800) I have been looking at. There is some negative feedback about changing modes whilst riding though, how do you find it?
Also the 800 can be had for £70 too.0 -

I reviewed my Volt in the above link. £13 more at Evans than your budget. 800 works the same way. No issue with changing modes myself. 800 should be very good indeed. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Facebook? No. Just say no.0 -
Also no issues changing modes whilst riding.
A double button press changes the light to its brightest setting, and I managed to do that even whilst wearing thick lobster gloves yesterday.0 -
This looks great value, and the reviews seem pretty good so far.

Recently bought a magicshine mj858 and really impressed with it so far

Has separate battery so need to either strap it to the bike, or carry in an adapted water bottle.0
