Mixing sprockets from 10 and 11 speed cassettes
Can i use sprockets from a 10 speed cassette on a 11 speed cassette?
I currently run a Shimano 105 11speed cassette where the bigger half of the sprockets are all in top shape due to lack of mountains.
Now Im thinking of buying a 10 speed ultegra cassette (simply way cheaper) and add one of the old sprockets from the old 11speed 105 cassette to make it an 11 speed.
Possible? Theoretically the sprockets and spacers should have the same size, right?

No. I'm afraid not. The spacers between 11 speed sprockets are (slightly) narrower.0

A 10S cassette with an extra cog and spacer on the end is ~41.3mm wide.
A 11S is 40mm, std 10S is 37.3 to 37.6mm. There wont be enough thread on the freehub to get the lockring to engage.
11S cogs are 1.6mm wide and spaced 2.2mm apart.
10S cogs are 1.75mm wide and spaced 2.4mm apart.0
