Morning everyone,

Ive been wearing my DHB aeron roubaix bib tights on my commute for the past couple of weeks - but after a few wet mornings, I'm finding the bib shorts are still soggy when I put them on at home time.

After a quick look on wiggle, I'm not seeing a lot of options in 2 figures - anyone have any experience of a decent pair of long bib shorts that will provide some waterproofing without breaking the bank (£60-70?).
Im sure there are some deals out there, but finding a pair with waterproofing is the key.

    These?

Not sure you'll get better for the price. I have the shorts version and they're good at shedding a shower or two.

Thanks for that...how did I miss them?!!

Also just seen these on Merlin which I'm tempted by:

Although, having used the sportful no rain light jersey, it really is good stuff.

Endura Stealth Lite waterproof bib tights

I don't have any experience of them. I was considering getting some some time ago but didn't. They look more waterproof than most, but not as stretchy/comfortable.
  • try using some grangers or nikwax to add DWR to your existing tights, that might work.

Thumbs up from me for the Lusso Max Repels - great pair of bib tights that are good in the wet, breathe well and keep you warm in the sort of weather that I am seeing in the SW at the moment. They are not, however, completely waterproof but, then again, I am not certain they any others are either (but I have'nt tried them all!).

Its very definitely not 'cool' but I wear Decathlon own brand waterproof overtrousers when its raining heavy. I've got a pair of Castelli Nanoflex which seem pretty good but I save them for longer weekend rides.
